before and after school care

The Jeff Rouse Swim and Sport Center is pleased to offer Before and After School Care for the 2026–2027 school year. Children will participate in supervised homework time, games, gym activities, and other engaging programs led by our Youth Programs staff.  Space is limited.

Registration

Registration is now open.

A $35 registration fee per child is required to reserve a spot in the program. Please complete and submit all required registration documents to the Youth Programs Director.

Please note:

• Submission of paperwork alone does not reserve a space.

• A child's spot is secured only after the registration fee has been received.

• All required enrollment documents must be submitted and approved before your child may attend the program.

Required Enrollment Documents

The following items must be submitted and approved before your child may attend the program:

• Completed Registration Packet

• Proof of Identity (Birth Certificate or Passport)

• Current Physical Examination Form (must be dated within the last 12 months)

• Current Immunization Record

• Medical Forms (if applicable)

• Food Allergy & Emergency Care Plan

If your child requires medication while in our care, all required medical forms must be completed and submitted prior to attendance. Children with asthma or severe allergies requiring an Epi-Pen and/or inhaler must have their prescribed medication kept on-site at all times.

All medications must:

• Be unexpired

• Remain in their original packaging

• Clearly display the child's name on the prescription label

Tuition

Tuition is billed weekly each Friday and must be paid before your child may attend the following week. All tuition payments must be set up on automatic draft using a valid debit or credit card.

Please note:

• No discounts, credits, or reimbursements will be provided for absences.

• Vacation weeks are not available.

• Your account will reflect the total amount due for the school year, and the balance will decrease as payments are made.

Member Rates:

• Before care only – $60/week    

• After care only - $80/week

• Before and after care - $120/week 

Non Member Rate:

• Before care only – $80/week       

• After care only - $100/week 

• Before and after care - $140/week

Transportation

The Jeff Rouse Center does not provide transportation to school.

Parents must arrange transportation through Stafford County Public Schools by adding the Jeff Rouse Center as an authorized bus stop location for their child. Please contact your child's school for information on establishing an additional bus assignment.

Payment Information

• Tuition payments must be set up on automatic draft.

• At this time, we only accept debit cards and credit cards for tuition payments.

• ACH payments are not accepted.
