We’re Back! A Must Read for Current Members

Posted July 10, 2020
Rouse Center Members,

Under Phase 2 of the Forward Virginia plan, we were allowed to reopen on June 8th with increased sanitation procedures and physical distancing of people and equipment. However, we had to keep parts of our facility closed, so we kept the mass freeze in place and opened for those who wished to return.

On July 1st, we entered Phase 3, which allowed us to lessen restrictions and increase capacity. We are happy to be moving forward and thus will be removing the mass membership freeze on Saturday, July 18th, and returning to our normal membership policies. Please note – if you have not returned to the center by July 18th to restart your membership, you will not be billed in July. You will be able to use the facility, and your membership drafts will begin on August 1st. Upon your first visit to the center, please stop by the Front Desk to sign our updated waiver and update your information.

We understand some of you will wish to remain frozen. Per our normal membership policy, you have the option to freeze your membership for up to 90 days one time per year for $20 per family. However, if you would like to freeze your membership before July 30th, please email info@rousecenter.com to freeze at no cost and your freeze will begin August 1st; you will not be billed in July. In the email, please list all names and birthdays for who you would like to freeze. If you freeze and would like to come back sooner, we can restart your membership at any time with no start-up fee. If you decide to freeze for the full 90 days, your first draft will be November 1st, and your membership will not be able to be frozen again this year. Effective August 1st, a membership freeze will go back to a cost of $20 per family and a termination will require 30 days’ notice again.

Thank you for your patience throughout this unprecedented time, and we look forward to seeing everyone!

Thank you,

Brian Cann
